Oahu is split up into 12 MLS regions which are then broken up into different towns and neighborhoods.

These regions are: Central, Diamond Head, Ewa Plain, Hawaii Kai, Kailua, Kaneohe, Leeward, Makakilo, Metro Honolulu, North Shore, Pearl City, and Waipahu.

Although this might work well for real estate boards, locals and residents usually break up the island into different areas based on cities and popular regions.

Some even split the island between the different navigational coasts (Leeward Coast, North Shore, Central Oahu, Windward Coast, and South Shore).

I will be breaking up the areas of Oahu by neighborhoods, while also including popular areas that are not cities (Waikiki and Hawaii Kai).
